There is a Spanish proverb which says what has been promised, must be given. And this is what is this post about…. A velvet outfit. In this case we have a grey velvet blazer by Elvi. I got it last season and I always paired it dresses or jeans. In this occasion I have a mix of velvet and animal print. Well perhaps it could be too much but at the end it results quite balanced.

The long blazer is a staple in my wardrobe. It can be dressed up or down. Today is the first option. But also with a blouse and jeans it results a nice combination.

The dress by M&S mode is a combination of a sheer black top and a ponte knit leopard print skirt. It is quite old, but I like it for the contrasts of textures and fabrics it offers.

To complement the grey monochrome, look a pair of patent leather ballet flats and a leather crossbody.

El refrán español que dice lo prometido es deuda se cumple hoy ya que os traigo la aplicación práctica de la tendencia aterciopelada del post anterior con este blazer firmado por Elvi. El año pasado compré este blazer gris de terciopelo por estas fechas y lo he podido disfrutar en las temporadas de entretiempo así como lo aprovecharé ahora con los diversos eventos festivos. Dada mi estatura este blazer parece un abrigo corto y queda fenomenal con este vestido que combina dos tejidos: por un lado, tenemos un cuerpo en un tejido semitransparente negro y la falda en tejido ponte simulando animal print en negro y gris. El escote se recoge en una lazada y las mangas son fruncidas. Me gusta porque queda ablusado disimulando mi abultado estómago.

Para no recargar el conjunto añadimos unas manoletinas en charol gris y un bolso bandolera en el mismo tono. Así que con este look inauguramos la temporada de los looks más vestidos. Asimismo os iré poniendo imágenes de mis decoraciones navideñas y hoy tenemos un misterio muy bonito y antiguo.
