Another school outfit is what we have for today´s post. Something wearable and completely different to what I usually have for school.

On Fridays, I go to school later around midday, so I can afford to wear less layers than the rest of the week. Then, I decided to do an almost Adolfo Dominguez´s outfit. This is a colorful outfit based on the contrast between beige and green. A recent post was based on how to introduce color in your wardrobe and another one on how to wear vests, therefore this is a practical demonstration on how to do both.

Applying the rule of color, we have green as a dominant color. Forest green is a color that fits with my wintery skin complexion. Therefore, it is a good idea to use it all year round but mainly in fall and winter.  The dressy pants belong to AD+ collection and they are almost sold out. These troussers are made in a flowy fabric and designed with a tight fit. They have a medium-high waist and side slant pockets.

These troussers are really  comfortable. I paired them with a bodycon dress worn as a sweat shirt to make a kind of column even though both greens are not the same shade. This has a slimming effect and results really flattering.

With the base done we have to add neutrals to balance the outfit. To contrast the puffer vest, another piece from Adolfo Dominguez´s last collection performs well, does not look bulky and it is light and cozy enough to protect me from the cold outside. This ultra light waistcoat features a fine quilted silhouette with a funnel collar trimmed in a Grosgrain ribbo detailing; it has side pockets with decorative flaps.

Then we have the rule of the vest: a dark column in long sleeves paired with a long vest contrasting in color with the green of the trousers and “shirt”. Accessories in beige: wedges, leather bag in animal print and green trim, beige long gloves. I also added a green scarf which I have not included in the pictures, malaquite earrings and green ring in the same stone.

Hoy traemos una demostración práctica de dos de las últimas ideas que he expuesto en posts anteriores: el introducir color en nuestro armario y el cómo llevar con estilo un chaleco largo. Además en este conjunto tenemos dos de mis últimas adquisiciones en las rebajas de Adolfo Domínguez en su línea plus AD+. Ambas tienen una calidad exquisita y con las rebajas han quedado a unos precios ridículos.

El color predominante es el verde pino, o quizá, verde botella que combina bien con mi tono de piel – sabéis que soy un invierno frío según la teoría del color. Así que los pantalones de vestir de AD+ destaca por su diseño recto y pierna estrecha realizados en un tejido fluido con raya de planchado delantera y trasera. Tienen bolsillos laterales lo cual es de agradecer. Además quedan genial con un vestido ajustado que llevo a modo de top. Podría haberlo dejado de su longitud pero preferí llevarlo por dentro. Así tenemos una columna monocromática con efecto adelgazante al ser el color más oscuro.

El chaleco acolchado destaca por su ultra ligero efecto acolchado y acabado satinado.El cuello estilo chimenea tiene un detalle de cinta de Grosgrain así como presenta unos bolsillos ocultos con tapeta girada. El color añadido, el chaleco combinado con manga larga. Un conjunto estiloso, ¿no?

Y una vez que tenemos el color, el resto del outfit en tonos neutros, en este caso,  unas cuñas beige, un bolso bandolera de piel con delantero en animal print y remates en verde así como el asa. Los pendientes y el anillo son verdes. Asimismo llevé una bufanda verde que no he fotografiado pues me la puse después así como los guantes del mismo color.
