Two summers ago, I discovered the power of white. Since then I tried to add a little white dress every summer. My annual pursuit was fruitful this year as soon as I saw this white dress in the Zara webpage two months ago. It is cute, feminine, and affordable.
I love the high neck with ruffle and the tied bows in the front. The textured wave makes it dainty as well as the long puff sleeves which I like to roll up my cuffs when it is hot. I paired it with green accessories: ring, earrings, flats and a cute vintage emanel brooch with a red rose and sparkling green with marcasites.
This simple dress has served me during this first days of spring in the daytime but I also looks incredible for more formal occasions.
The beauty of a simple white dress is that it is an outfit in itself. White looks clean and crisp against green as you see in the images. And it also plays well with tan, black or metallic accessories in particular.
Bonus, I am totally iron-averse so this textured fabric allows me to skip ironing every time I wash it.
Do you fancy a little white dress or is your closet full of them?
Peace and passion.
