There are lots of ways to infuse personal style to your capsule wardrobe without spending a penny.
The first tip is to inject color to your neutrals by adding accent colors to your basic hues in order to build a cohesive palette. In my case I have pinks, mauves and purples in my summer capsule so adding a grey and maybe pastels will level up my capsule.
Play with textures in your basic looks even if they are monochrome. Adding pieces with interesting textures such as sequins, leather, silk, satin, velvet or suede will make your outfits more interesting even if they are just basics.
Play with accessories try to make new combinations with bold earrings, dainty jewelry or shell and marine necklaces. Believe in how empowering accessories could be in comparison to your garments.
When wearing prints try to stay away of those too loud and opt for more classic options such as stripes, polka dots or plaids in neutral shades to spicy up your outfits. I suppose at least you have stripes in your closet and maybe polka dots which are a classy classic, so wear them with your basics to make your basic looks more playful.
As you know animal prints are currently on trend so incorporate more animal prints and you will see how versatile is this print and also you will see it acts like a neutral shade.
