One of my customers was not conviced when I suggested she needed a little black dress even in summer. We were looking for new pieces to refresh her wardrobe when I told her to try a couple of little black dresses – one fit and flare and the other a wrap dress. She hardly wanted to try them on but maybe to please me she decided to take all the twelve dresses we chose to try them on. As soon as she tried the black wrap dress she realized she was wrong as she noticed how flattering the dress was. Then she not only purchased the wrap dress but also she took home three more dresses. 

As a personal shopper I like to advice and my blog is part of this vision, then here you have my powerful reasons to have more than a little black dress are:

1) They are really flattering. Fit and flare black dresses fit all body types but also you can try a black wrap dress which also will give you a sleek silhouette.

2) Black dresses are appropriate for almost every situation. You need some in your closet because they are wardrobe staples and you can make them work all seasons and all occasions.

3)Black is the most sophisticated color and it screams chic and classy.

El básico entre los básicos que no debe faltar en nuestro vestidor es el LBD , Little black dress o petite robe noir según los franceses. Se trata de un vestido negro corto que es muy versátil y nos saca de muchos apuros. Cuando  no sepas que ponerte puedes recurrir al vestido negro. Dicen que por lo menos tenemos que  poseer uno pero cuando mis clientas me piden consejo les digo que más de uno ya que no sobran. Por lo menos dos uno para verano y otro para invierno.

Las que no sois aficionadas al negro diréis que soy muy pesada pero aquí tenéis las poderosas razones por las que es muy conveniente y elegante tener una “colección” de vestiditos negros:

• El color negro es sofisticado y siempre resulta chic y elegante.
