I can’t get enough straw bags!

I adore them for the Spring and Summer although I wear them any time. When I was young I spent a month in Ireland and I bought one of my most unforgettable  straw bags, I realized then that straw and wicker bags  where not only for the Mediterranean girls. 

In 2011 I moved to Ceuta and there I was able to enjoy the beauty of  Moroccan basketmaking. There I learnt how beneficial is to have a big basket to go to the market and how practical was having another one to go to the beach. I think these types of bags are fun and perfect for daily life but last year and this year they are trendy. For the last two years I have shown my collection of wicker, seagrass and straw bags, This seaon, part of my collection has been already presented but here you will have a complete display of the newest aditions.

Me encantan los cestos de paja y , en general, de fibras naturales ya sean de mimbre, de rafia, ratán o algas. Todavía me acuerdo de un cesto de mimbre con borlas fucsia que compré en Irlanda hace muchísimos años que me abrió los ojos a que las fibras naturales no son una cosa de la Europa Mediterránea. Mi vida en Ceuta me acercó a la cestería marroquí de gran calidad y hermosura de diseños y me convenció de que una cesta de paja es útil tanto para la playa como para la compra. Desde entonces tengo mis cestas de mimbre que renuevo cada año y mis cestas de paseo que acompañarán a los looks de esta temporada sobre todo cuando se asiente el tiempo pues seguimos con el otoño en primavera… 

En el post de hoy os traigo tres  incorporaciones a la colección y en otro aparecerán las nuevas piezas que todavía no han llegado a mi poder y espero que no tarden mucho. Con todo, me alegro que estén tan de moda los bolsos de fibras naturales pero que conste que para mí son un clásico y se llevarán esta y las siguientes temporadas.
