I am not a huge fan of prints, but, from time to time, I like to incorporate them in my wardrobe. Last fall and even this spring are all about checked prints, then I decided it was time to have some of them. I wanted something modest but suddenly I changed my mind when I saw this black and white hounds tooth robe coat. The pure lines and the detail of closing in one side make this coat unique so I purchased it the last days of sale. As it is vert light, I can wear it for a while.

The fabric has texture which adds more interest to the coat.  When you are wearing a print, the rest of the outfit should be in a low key. Then I opted for a sleeveless off – white fit and flare dress with metallic gold and silver threads in the fabric paired with black opaque tights and black crisscross shoes. Accessories were all in white to make a more spring friendly combination: white scarf, white handbag with bamboo handles, pearl cat ear earrings and pearl long necklace. In short, we have a transitioning to spring outfit which plays with prints, black and white.

No soy una fanática de los estampados así que por mucho que estuvieran de moda los de príncipe de Gales, pata de gallo y derivados me resistía a comprar algo con este estampado… Hasta que vi este abrigo estilo batín con estampado de  pata de gallo en blanco y negro. Es un clásico atemporal así que lo compré. El tejido del abrigo tiene un poco de textura lo que añade un poco de interés al mismo.

Como el diseño es grande, el resto tiene que ser sencillo. Por ello, opté por medias y zapatos negros y el resto de los accesorios en blanco: un bonito pañuelo, un bolso trenzado con asas de bambú, pendientes de perla con orejitas de gato y un collar largo que alterna dos vueltas con perlas y una sin ellas.
