One of my clients told me leather jackets are not for plus size women. I replied I completely disagree with her as a leather jacket is so versatile that you can throw them on over literally everything and always there is a size leather jacket waiting for you no matter what your size is.

Some of my leather jackets have been with me for ages, one was bought in 2007 and the other is even older. I always tell myself to replace them and several times they have been in the donation pile when doing a closet clean out… But always come to me again and again.  They pair well with dresses adding an edge to them, specially those girly and lacy. I am sure I will doubt again but some of them are keepers

And there are a wide variety. From the classic black moto to the embroidered style through the leather blazer there is an option just for you.  Depending on your budget you can choose vegan leather models – some of them are really convincing in different colors – or maybe you want to invest in genuine lambskin which will be pricier but will last you forever. 

So if you do not have a leather jacket this is the time for you to have one.

Una de mis mejores clientes me dijo que las chaquetas de cuero no eran para las mujeres de talla grande. Del mejor modo posible intenté rebatir esta idea y le dije que son muy versátiles y que se adaptan a cualquier estilo y talla.

A mi me gustan tanto que algunas me han acompañado desde 2007 e incluso antes y en varias ocasiones han estado a punto de salir de mi armario cuando hago limpia pero al final vuelven y no me arrepiento de haberlas recuperado pues tienen un punto en que cuanto más gastadas están más chulas resultan.  Me gustan porque casan bien con los vestidos femeninos y con los de encaje así como para llevarlas con pantalones en un estilo más sport.

En cuanto a los modelos hay gran variedad desde las negras clásicas a las que llevan bordados, los blazers,  las crop… En definitiva hay en modelo para tí y ahora es el tiempo de llevarlas pues son tan fáciles de combinar. Si no tienes una deberías contemplar la idea de encontrar la que más te favorezca.
