In the navy is a very old song by Village People. I always hated that song because it was so catchy that I could not take it from my mind… And I was in trouble at school as I was crooning all the time so my teachers were mad at me.

Nevertheless, it is a good way to describe the dress I am wearing today. In fact, it is a navy blue short dress with a thin outer layer that has ruffled sleeves. The inner lining is very smooth to the touch and has a side zipper fastening. It has crew neck and it is close with a single – buttom keyhole at the back. A very classy dress that can be dressed up or down. In this case something in between as I paired it with accesories in different shades of blue: dark blue suede ballerina flats, cocktail ring with turquoise and ruby stones, original earrings in the same shade of blue and a cute handbag with different tones of blue and a cute pin given by my beloved students. All together a  nice blue ensemble…

Hoy estamos en la marina o por lo menos tenemos un look en torno a un vestido de cocktail firmado por Adolfo Domínguez. Si si otra vez tratando de dar una versión superponible de un vestido muy formal. Y en un tono al que no os tengo muy acostumbrados… Bueno las reglas están para romperlas. Este precioso vestido destaca por su corte negro por la rodilla con un escota caja y manga corta en forma de volante que le da un toque muy original. Lleva cremallera invisible en el lateral y el cierre en la parte de atrás es de lágrima abotonada. Visto así es un vestido muy formal que requiere de complementos que le den un poquito de luz. Así que tonos de azul vibrante como el turquesa sirven de base a los complementos: unos pendientes de diseño muy original, un anillo con turquesa y rubí, un broche en forma de pájaro muy gracioso regalito de mis alumnos y un bolso que combina destellos de azul en diversas gamas. Resultado un look ponible a diario con un toque especial.
