Going shopping has been one of my favourite hobbies since I began to have my own money. I used to love going shopping with my mummy, specially when we purchased cloths or shoes. I still love going shopping with a list of what I need or if I go with my friends or customers with an idea of what we are looking for. 

When on line shoppping became more and more popular, I rejected the idea of buying cloths on line as I thought it was difficult to get the right size and it was hard to know about the quality of a fabric. However, nowdays I have discovered that shopping on line is easy, convenient and practical. But you have to take into consideration several factors:

• First of all have your measurements. Use a measuring tape to have an exact idea of your size. The main measures you need are your bust, your natural waist, and your hips. With the right measurements you will know exactly what is your size by looking at the size chart of the brand .

• Size chart are your best friends when shopping on line as each brand has its own sizing. Many times a size standardization has been suggested but nothing has been implemented so far, then it is a MUST to check the size charts to see the measures they have for each size. It is also convenient to look at the comparison sizing charts when you buy an international brand – especially when you are buying in Asian  based companies.

• Look at the model´s size information to have an idea on how the garment will look and how is the hang of the fabric. If the brand includes videos look at them to see the movement of the garment…

• Read closely the composition of a fabric to see if it is stretchy or not.  Try to find stretchy fabrics which will be more adaptable to your figure and body. Stiff fabrics do not provide stretch and sometimes will not fit.

• Use coupon codes, free shipping and returns as well as other discounts. IT is really important to know the return policy if you have to make changes and return what does not fit. Sometimes shipping fees are not the most convenient and it is important to know it before buying a garment.

Desde siempre me ha gustado ir de compras. Y creo que desde que empecé a disponer de mi propio dinero he dedicado parte de mi tiempo libre a ir de tiendas. Al principio iba con mi madre y a las dos nos encantaba mirar zapatos y vestidos – y las dos teníamos talla grande. Hoy en día me sigue gustando ir de comprar y mirar escaparates pero siempre con una idea de lo que voy buscando y cuando lo hago de un modo “profesional” con amigas o clientas siempre he hablado y mirado on line lo que le puede gustar a la persona para no dar vueltas innecesarias.

Al principio cuando surgió la posibilidad de comprar on line ropa fui una de las personas más reacias a hacerlo pues pensaba que sería muy difícil saber qué me quedaría bien o si la talla sería la mía. Sin embargo, hoy en día gran parte de las compras que hago son on line pero tengo en cuenta lo siguiente para no tener que devolver todas las prendas: 

• En primer lugar conviene tener medidas exactas de contorno de pecho, cintura y caderas así como del largo que más te gusta para ver cómo te quedaría una prenda. Conviene utilizar una buena cinta métrica y que alguien te tome las medidas para que sean más exactas.

• Con tus medidas  mira con detenimiento la guía de tallas para ver cuál es la que mejor se ajusta a tus medidas. Si compras en una tienda on line extranjera mira también la equivalencia de tallas si es que se dispone de ella. Esto es extremadamente útil cuando compras en tiendas radicadas en China e India.

• Asimismo revisa videos y medidas de la modelo si están disponibles para ver la caída y movimiento  de la tela así como posibles opiniones de clientas que han comprado el producto antes ya que da buenas pistas sobre cómo es el tallaje y la calidad de la tela.
• Hablando de calidad de tela conviene que te fijes si la tela tiene stretch o no fundamentalmente para ver si se adapta bien o no. Las fibras sin elastano son rígidas y no se ajustan tanto.

• Utiliza los cupones y revisa la política de devoluciones así como los gastos de envío ya que a veces te puedes descontar un dinero si llegas a una cantidad fija o en caso de devoluciones si son gratuitas o no. En el caso de marcas internacionales hay que comparar pues los tallajes son muy distintos.
