I have always loved celebrating International Women´s Day. However, in my opinion it is a daily celebration as our day to day strugle makes world more egalitarian and this contributes to avoid differences based on gender. Time has given me the confidence to assume that all our progresses are not enough even tough there have been great changes in Spain since I was seventeen and our present Constitution was not passed. Before that women depended on a man – father, brother, legal tutor or husband – until the age of 21 to open a bank account or to buy a house for example. Since then great changes  but still we have lots of things to fight for. So my contribution and celebration is done in a daily basis. Today, tomorrow and next year by this time I hope to continue breaking gender barriers.

So infinite hugs to my friends and let´s keep on making our world more equal and happy.

Celebrar el día de la mujer siempre ha sido una gozada aunque para mi es una celebración diaria porque me permite luchar y avanzar en conseguir un mundo más igualitario en el que no haya diferencias por el mero hecho de ser hombre, mujer o lo que uno sea. El tiempo nos hace valorar más lo que vamos logrando y debo reconocer que en mis muchos años el cambio ha sido grande pero todavía queda mucho por conseguir y en esa lucha diaria me encontraréis hoy, mañana y el año que viene por estas fechas.

Abrazos infinitos a todas mis amigas para que no descansemos en hacer un mundo más igual y feliz.
