March has brought a heat wave to Madrid. We have to stand almost 27ºC  for about a week. And this is a challenge because we still have our winter clothes in the wardrobe. So I looked for something fresh and cute in my closet and I found this lovely dress which is from early fall but it is sleveeless and has a cute lace in the back.  As you can see I do not like to show much cleavage instead I prefer to expose my back.  The rest of the esemble easy breezy. Pallette ballet flats, grey and white pearl earrings and another big tote bag to carry all my teaching stuff. For. outerwear a long grey jacket but it was so hot that I put it in my bag

Recycling clothes from season to season is a must and when you keep lots of clothes you always find something interesting to wear instead of buying new things. This challenge is about that and I am glad I kept this old dress as it brings back good memories and refreshes this warming day.

Ola de calor en marzo en España. Si es cierto. Esta semana las temperaturas han subido como la espuma y parece que estemos a comienzos de verano en lugar de finales del invierno. Sin embargo es algo efímero porque el próximo lunes volvemos a la normalidad invernal. Mientras tanto ha sido todo un reto el podernos vestir. Ayer pensé que no tenía nada que ponerme y rebusque en el armario hasta encontrar este vestido gris sin mangas que aquí veis con una pañoleta pero que en la calle acompañé con una chaqueta -poncho que no he podido fotografiar pero que pondré en otro post. Y aun así pasé calor.  

El reto de encontrar algo en el armario para ponerse en el entretiempo es algo que me acompañó durante años. En otros tiempos cuando el denim era mi uniforme lo tenía super -facil pues unos pantalones, falda o vestido en denim ligero con una blusa o camista cuquis y una cazadora vaquera o chaqueta hacían milagros pero con los años una tiene otro unforme , los vestidos y ahí siempre hay que tener vestiditos sin mangas que te sacan de estos apuros fenomenalmente. Ahora son abriguitos ligeros y capitas los que añado para abrigar  atardeceres y mañanitas.
