After a few clear and light outfits we make our way back to basics, that is to say, black outfits. For sure, cloudy days claim for dark colors and that is what happened yesterday. Rainy day equaled a black outfit but not completely black as I added some beige details which make it a bit different. And all were recycled pieces from past seasons.

The bases of the outfit were two capsule wardrobe pieces. On one hand, we have a  sleeveless black scuba dress by Roberto Torreta for El Corte Inglés which I bought two years ago and which is a bit short to what I am accustomed to wear. With black tights looks reasonable and with the beige fishnet tights looks more polished and not too tasteless as I thought. So another broken rule, wearing short skirts. On the other, a black spring coat by HM+ from last season with folden zippers that make it classy even though it has a simple design. As I said before, two staple pieces for a capsule wardrobe.

And now just a few notes on accesories. Chanel inspired ballerina flats in beige, black with a beige and black vintage purse by Tous, Flower gold earrings also by Tous and a Golden necklace by Cos complete the outfit.

As you can see investing in key pieces can change completely your outfits and give a nice twist to your daily outfits.

Hoy volvemos al lado oscuro como el día lluvioso que fue ayer. Si pero utilizamos piezas  básicas que todo armario de fondo debe de tener y les damos un toque lady al combinar negro, dorado y beige. Así que vamos con la muestra.

La base viene en forma de vestido de neopreno negro sin mangas de la serie que Roberto Torreta hizo hace tres temporadas para El Corte Inglés. ¡Qué es muy corto! Ya lo admito. Si lo llevo con medias negras no me importa pero hoy le he dado cancha con unas medias de redecilla y el resultado no es vulgar si le añades complementos más arreglados. Una no suele ir así pero de vez en cuando hay que atreverse y eso es una prueba de seguridad así que rompí mis convicciones y me lancé a la calle con algo diferente a lo que suelo llevar. La otra pieza central del look es un abrigo de primavera negro en algodón de HM+ que tiene unas cremalleras doradas muy aparentes y unos bolsillos de plastón comodísimos. Asi que dos básicos indispensables.

Para evitar el efecto Darth Vader lo combinamos con accesorios en dorado, negro y camel. Efectivamente, unas bailarinas inspiradas en las de Chanel básicas pero claro asequibles y con gomas para mis adorables pezuñitas  junto con un bolsito vintage de Tous al que siempre recurro cuando tengo poco que llevar y mucho que lucir rompen la monotonía del negro. Si a ello unimos unos pendientes florecita en oro de Tous y un colgante dorado de diseño minimal sueco de COS el conjunto por lo menos queda resultón y diferente. Y además reciclando piezas que como mínimo tienen tres temporadas. Voilá. ya tenemos un nuevo look !
