Those who follow the blog will know how much I love capes. People consider them not very flattering but for me they are versatile and convenient as they gently embrace my body. In wintertime, they are useful as they are an easy way for layering. But the same thing applies for spring time when you need thin layers in chilly mornings and you can get rid of them at midday.

The light grey woolen cape I am featuring today is the oldest I have. I purchased it in Zara five years ago when I was living in Ceuta. Since then It has been one of my basics. I usually wear it with a dress but this time I matched it with grey Mom jeans in a monochrome outfit. The inner layer was made with a pearly grey linen t-shirt and an embroidered short kimono with silver accents. I like the pin which gives a bit of color to the outfit.

I consider monochrome outfits are really flattering so that is why I opted for light grey suede ballerina flats and a matching clutch and watch.

Aquellas personas que siguen el blog, bien sabrán de mi amor por las capas. Y de nuevo tenemos otra versión de la capa. Se trata de una prenda de lana gris perla rematada en marrón oscuro que adquirí en Zara hace cinco años cuando vivía en Ceuta. En aquellas latitudes resultaba muy socorrida en esos días ventosos que hacía fresco para ir a cuerpo y calor si llevabas una prenda de abrigo ligera. La usé un montón y sigo haciéndolo pero en estas latitudes resulta más difícil llevarla pues bien sea sobre un vestido o sobre pantalones como en este caso solo se puede hacer cuando la temperatura es cálida.

Como os decía en este caso llevamos otro look monocromo a base de gris clarito, otra de mis pasiones. Unos mom jeans amplios y cómodos de ir al trabajo con una camisetita de lino y un kimono de algodón corto con bordados en plata. Algo sencillo que queda roto con el prendedor menina que tanto me gusta y que le da un poquito de color. Para no desentonar unas manoletinas en ante gris perla y un clutch – cartera en el mismo material y similar tono.
