I feel tickled pink with dusty rose as it is the sweetest pink you could imagine. I connect it with romantic and girly looks although in my life it represented good luck. When I was in college – long, long time ago- I had a dusty rose T- shirt which I kept for long time. I used to wear it every time I had an exam as I considered it my good luck charm. And, for the better or for the worse, it worked as I did not fail any subject in my five years at the University. I am not a superstitious woman, I studied hard but wearing the pale pink T-shirt made me feel more confident. I assume it is not very serious but I still love to have pale rose garments in my closet.

And now let´s tell in detail what I am wearing. It is too hot in Madrid nowadays so I decided to put on a Greek inspired dress. This pleated chiffon dress has nice buttons along the shoulders. The side panels are pale pink while the front and back have a small print in coral, grey and black. This type of dress can be dressed up or down. As I wanted a girly outfit I just added suede pumps and clutch as well as flower earrings in pale rose.

Seguimos con el rosa en todas sus gamas y hoy nos toca el rosa palo.  Es un tono muy favorecedor, sobre todo si tu piel es blanquita y rosada. La verdad es que es un tono muy apropiado para dar un aire romántico cuando se presenta en armonía pero también contrastar con tonos brillantes. Opciones interesantes para combinarlo serían con negro, marrón o blanco.

Mi amor con este tono de rosa viene de hace bastante tiempo cuando me regalaron una camiseta en este tono que guardé como oro en paño.  De hecho era mi talismán para los exámenes en la universidad. Me acuerdo que la tuve durante mucho tiempo y que me costó Dios y ayuda el desprenderme de ella. Desde entonces siempre he procurado tener una prenda en este color no sé si por considerarla un amuleto o porque el color me sienta bien y me gusta.

Ahora vamos con la descripción del look que tenemos hoy. Se trata de un vestido plisado soleil de inspiración griega de A + realizado en chrinkle rosa palo en los laterales y en la parte central del delantero y la espalda con un discreto estampado en gris, negro y un tono de rosa cercano al marrón. El vestido es una  monada. Me gusta mucho tanto para looks formales como para otros más sencillos. Hoy está en clave formal acompañado por unos zapatos y clutch de ante gris perla. Ambos fueron comprados por separado pero quedan bien al conjuntarse. Los pendientes son en el mismo tono de rosa lo que le da al conjunto una gran delicadeza y elegancia.

And more pink in my life. For sure, I love flowers. If I have the choice I buy flowers as a present or even to put them on my desk at school. So when I saw this top I bought it without trying it on. I had the biggest size available without doubt considering I could have it altered in case of necessity. And believe it or not, it fitted me. I sometimes purchase things without trying them on because I prefer to see if they match at least with two things I have at home. This rule of mixing and combining with two other items in my wardrobe has had a good impact in building a capsule wardrobe. However, I will discuss this in another post.

Y otra vez toca rosa chicle. Sin embargo, esta vez se trata de algo muy informal. Unos jeans rosas…  Y si me atrevo con ellos. Son bastante estrechos y eso me gusta. Los combino con una túnica llena de flores en tonos rosas, rojos y malvas que me encanta. Es muy sencilla pero el estampado es muy alegre y me anima mucho ya que mi piel es tan blanquita que estos colores me sientan bastante bien. Llevo unos zapatos de tacón medio en ante gris que estilizan un poco. Como accesorios un colgante en los tonos de la blusa y unos pendientes rosas en forma de dado que no han salido en las fotos bien. Hacía tanto calor que las hemos tenido que hacer en la terraza así que la calidad no es la mejor. Las próximas espero que ya sean buenas.
