ANSWERING STYLE QUESTIONS

Even though we accept our bodies and our self-esteem is high, there are days we feel less confident and we need some tricks to smooth our figure or to cover our arms. On the other hand, as a personal stylist I have repeated questions which my customers ask:

How to cover your arms when it is hot outside?

I like to try a lace long sleeved shirt as it covers my sleeves and allows air to circulate around my arms with a feminine and polish look.  Other option is to wear a sheer kimono or simple a loose kimono in a natural and light fabric.

Is it possible to wear oversized clothes without being bulky?

Best solution: wear a skinny or a fitted silhouette on bottom (leggings, a bodycon dress, skinny jeans) and belt the ensemble. This is an excellent way to accentuate your natural waistline and to refine your look with a classic and polished look.

What can I do to wear spaghetti straps or sleveeless pieces without exposing your arms?

Even though this summer I have been used to expose my arms, for sure I do not wear spaghetti straps. So, I like to wear a long sleeve blouse , a turtleneck  or a fitted T-shirt underneath my dresses.  Another way is to wear a vest over the dress.

These solutions look great on everybody and it is a way to wear sleeveless or spaghetti straps without showing too much skin. A modest way to dress for those who do not like to expose their arms.

What about camouflaging and smoothing your tummy ?

Then opt for an A -line skirt, a peplum blouse or jacket or a fit and flare dress. All of these styles accentuate your natural waistline and conceals your stomach and hip as they fit and accentuate your upper half and distract attention from your lower half.

Are there any other style questions you would like to ask? I will appreciate to comment them.
