CAN CAPSULE WARDROBE BE COLORFUL?

There are misinterpretations on what a capsule wardrobe is  and the most common is that it must be neutral coloured.  However, this is not true. In my case is pretty colorful even in winter time.

I have some tips to add color to your capsutle wardrobe:

  • Tops could be whatever colors you like as you will not wear them at the same time.
  • When looking for prints try to select those that match the colors of the other clohting pieces in your wardrobe. This will give more vesatility to your wardrobe as one print could match with different solid colors.

  • Base your capsule wardrobe on a color palette and select colors that match well with the other pieces unless you prefer monochromatic looks.

  • Use your favorite colors!!! The essence of a capsule wardrobe is wearing pieces you like and feel goog in. With this said, your efforts should concentrate on making your pieces work well with the palette you choose. Pieces must work well each other.

In my case, last year it was based on a pinkish palette. For this spring-summer-early fall I combine pink pieces with grey shades and I am proud of the mix.  Today we have the core of shoes and bags that are included in my capsule. More or less is the same we had in my last year capsule so pictures here are quite similar to the ones included last year.

Do you have a colorful capsule wardrobe?

Blessings and hugs.
