Today is 2nd August and we are in the middle of a heat wave, breaking the rules.

It is a fact that black is not for summer although today I am showing you can wear it in summer too. You know I crave for   black and I need my black staples all seasons. And my question is why do we have to give up wearing black in summer?

For sure we can wear black but considering the following:

• Use silk, cotton and linen even other natural fibers.
• If  you wear lace, eyelets, cut – outs  or even strategic pic- a- boos you could feel more comfortable and fresh.
• Loose and flowy silhouettes such as fit and flare dresses, A-line skirts and off the shoulder tops.

Here you have an example of how to wear black in early summer. This lace dress is a blessing. It belongs to this season´s HM+ collection and I bought it to replace my old Forever 21 lace dress as it shrunk after our assistant put it in the washing machine instead of waiting for me to wash it. I love this lace dress for its fit and flare silhouette, the V neck and the midi length.

With this said just comment the outfit. Gold long earrings by  Ginger & Velvet, black lambskin ballerinas with pointed toe and bow on the front. The black raffia minaudière crossbody bag has a top hande and a detachable chain shoulder strap. I love the gold metal hardware and it fastens with a button on the flap. This bag is my latest addition to my wicker bag collection a cute.

Empezamos agosto de negro. Es algo bien sabido que el negro no es un color apto para el verano, bueno eso se sugiere pero hoy desafiamos la regla de que los colores oscuros no son para el calor. Una lleva negro en cualquier estación pero cuando lo hago en verano tengo mis reglas:

• Uso tejidos naturales como la seda, algodón y lino.
• Si llevas encaje o diseños que dejan al descubierto parte parte de tu piel resultan más fresquitos.
• Siluetas fluidas y sueltas como los vestidos estilo patinadora o Linea A son menos pegadas al cuerpo.

Y aquí un ejemplo de cómo llevarlo. Tenemos un vestido de encaje con escote en pico  y manga corta japonesa con vuelo en la falda firmado por H&M+. Lo acompaño de unos pendientes dorados de  Ginger and Velvet largos y unas bailarinas de punta  en piel negra con lazo. Lo que más me gusta es el bolso en forma de caja de rafia negra con asa de mano y de hombro en forma de cadena extraible. Me encanta el toque dorado de los apliques y el cierre con botón en la solapa.
