Most people associate straw and wicker baskets with summer.  However I have been using them all year round as my passion for these natural materials is well known.

Many concepts, materials and looks have transcended their former boundaries so why not wearing straw and wicker baskets all year round. These type of baskets are cute, can be really chic and revive the summer days in the cold winter. I include one of this season purchases in a post last April but my passion for these materials and textures compels me to renew my collection every summer as I use the baskets so much that they are completely worn out. So to replace my biggest straw bags from last year which include below I have purchased this bag a bit smaller than the ones I used to have.

Then my brother and my sister in law went to Ethiopia and they brought me this colorful cutie which complements my pink and green garments.

To increase the collection I added two basic straw baskets in nude and nude and white with different shapes.

And to complete this year collection a couple of cuties a bit more sophisticated.

¿Quién dijo que los capazos de paja y los bolsos de mimbre y rafia son para el verano? Lo mismo que las bicicletas, estos materiales se han llevado este invierno y ahora hacen furor como una nueva tendencia. Pero una que siempre ha tenido bolsos de este tipo ha decidido reemplazar los que se quedaron viejos del pasado verano y añadir otras adquisiciones a la colección. Seguidamente añado las nuevas formas y prometo que incluiré looks con cada uno de ellos en los próximos meses sin importarme si es invierno o verano.
