Matching sets or coordinates  are meant to be used in different ways as they are synonims of versatility. At the beginning they were meant to be worn together but you can create with them multiple outfits. That is why I included the pink dress and its matching kimono in my capsule wardrobe. The set is made up of a  pink floral print midi dress with with its matching pink floral  kimono. Both of them were from last spring Riverisland collection.

I adore the satiny texture of the fabric as well as its delicate design.

Today I paired both but here you have other ways to use them.

First of all you can mix tem with solid color basics. In my case I mix the kimono with an all black ensemble or the dress with a light coat.

Another way is to add a pop of color when you wear your set together. You could do it by adding a colorful pair of sandals and a vibrant bag, or matching the coordinates with contrasting jacket or jewelry. My last suggestion is to mix and match coordinates with other prints. This is not my favourite way to do it but those who are braver than me is awonderful option.

Hace algunas temporadas se pusieron de moda los coordinados y me gustan porque son sinónimos de versatilidad. En un principio se hicieron para llevarlos juntos pero lo cierto es que se pueden utilizar de diversas formas. Hoy os traigo un vestido midi con estampado floral y el kimono que completa el conjunto. Quizá parezca mucha flor pero me gusta. Las prendas son diseños firmados por Riverisland de la temporada de primavera / verano.

Sin embargo, os doy posibilidades de cómo aprovecharlos más. En primer lugar mezclarlos con prendas lisas. Por ejemplo el kimono lo llevo con vaqueros y camiseta negra y queda chulísimo. Por su parte el vestido lo combino con un abrigo liso en los tonos y queda muy formal y clásico.

Otro modo de darle vida es utilizando colores vibrantes en accesorios para resaltar el diseño de las prendas. Por último, para las más atrevidas, consistiría en mezclar prints en el tono o tonos dominantes.
